Trip to Sri Lanka organized by Eranda
Our group of 13 were super satisfied with the services of Eranda. Our trip was absolutely personalized. For each step he sent us a list of several hotels, guest houses of different comfort levels, prices, ... so that we can choose the one that best suits us with total transparency on the price. He spent a lot of time answering all our questions, and the end result was beyond our expectations. He planned a lot of small stops in the middle of nowhere in dream places to enjoy beautiful home cooking. He also has an impressive knowledge of the country and its history. No better guide to accompany us in the various scheduled visits. Also his flexibility is incredible, even during the trip. he is completely attentive and his only wish is to make a sawmill this unforgettable for everyone. 🌴 Unforgettable trip to Sri Lanka with Sri Lanka Tour Guides 🌴
We had an exceptional stay in Sri Lanka thanks to Sri Lanka Tour Guides, with a personalized program for our family (2 adults, 2 children 7 and 11 years old).Our guide Hasa accompanied us throughout the trip, sharing stories, culture and traditions, always taking care of our comfort.Highlights of our trip: • Ascent of Sigiriya Rock, Ayurvedic Massage, Polonnaruwa Cycling Tour and Minneriya Safari (wild elephants), Visit to the Cave Temple • In Nuwara Eliya: visit a tea plantation with picking in traditional costume, train ride through the mountains, afternoon tea and spectacular scenery. • In Galle: sunset from the fortress, boat ride on the Madu River, discovery of mangroves and a cinnamon plantation.Although the journeys can be long and cultural tours seem less child-friendly, our daughters loved this adventure full of discoveries and encounters.Many thanks to Mr. Eranda and Hasa for their kindness and professionalism. Reliable and professional organization
We are 2 families DE 6 EN all to have done a 2 week EN July tour with Amila, our driver/gui DE from Sri Lanka tour guides. There are several tour guides who work for Sri Lanka tour guides. This tour was planned with Eranda our contact several months in advance. Everything we asked for was integrated into the tour and Eranda made us additional proposals for activities that could interest us with 3 teenagers. Eranda also arranged, at our request, a train ride between Nuwara Eliya and Ella. Amila was waiting for us at Ella station with our luggage. An experience to live in Sri Lanka. What was a plus in the organization was the mix DE cultural and recreational tours over a day. Eranda sends you the price list DE the activities a few days before departure in order to know the total budget to be expected. Some activities are to be paid EN cash, it is necessary to change DE the argENt when arriving or withdrawing in the ATM. There are ways DE pay by credit card in many places except safaris and some activities. There are many DE small amounts to pay DE cash during your visits (care DE your shoes at the temples, rental of pareo if your shorts are too short, if you want a specialized guide of the place...) so it is necessary to plan small bills of 100-200-500 rupees. Amila knows her country very well and you can ask her about customs, general history, agricultural production by region of the country (rice, bananas, tea, etc...). Several activities lead to a possibility of purchase such as the DE tea factories or the spice garden but EN general it is very interesting to do and purchases are not mandatory. For meals, the first days Amila took us to lunch in large buffet restaurants. This allowed us DE taste the country’s cuisine in all its forms but when we tasted it all, we asked him to go to smaller, more authentic local restaurants. Amila advised us well and we had no medical problems. We really recommend this DE driver/gui DE in Sri Lanka as driving is very complicated and the guide has all the tricks to get us as close as possible to the places to visit.

Amazing stay thanks to Eranda! We were 2 couples with 2 children DE 3 years and 1 year and a half. Eranda offered us an adapted and very interesting tour. While EN helping us with our questions about hotels and activities, he was able to readjust his proposals.Gemunu, our mistletoe DE who is part of Eranda's team was amazingly kind, respectful, patient (with 2 young children it was not always easy!). Excellent Safe Driver - As A Friend - Best Service -
We had 4 wonderful days together with our driver Nandukan. He drived safely in the at times chaotic traffic. We had interesting conversations about Sri Lanka - nature, culture and general things. An excellent Sri Lanka adventure
We contacted Eranda a bit last minute and were blown away by the excellent time we had on our 7 day trip in Sri Lanka, thanks to Eranda’s planning and our guide Hasa for bringing us around. Hasa was thoughtful and accommodating in addition to being a great guide for us. He knew just the places to visit for our active boys and made the long rides enjoyable. Hasa also introduced us to many delicious exotic Sri Lanka fruit and even the yummy local ice cream. Boomers on a surf trip
Have just finished a 2-week tour with a fabulous guide from Eranda's team. Our guide was punctual, courteous, and happy to be flexible. Eranda arranged all the pre booking and helped with itinerary and booked our train tickets. Our driver was waiting for us on arrival and helped us from the start with SIM cards and money at the airport. i was not sure what to expect and a bit nervous handing over a deposit before arriving but it was a minimal investment for work done on the itinerary and the follow up could not be faulted. Efficient and kind and hospitable!
We made a very last minute plan to visit Sri Lanka from Bangalore, and Eranda was super helpful in setting us up with a car, guide, itinerary and hotel. His responsiveness was particularly helpful. We were met at Colombo by Hasa, who was our guide throughout our three days. An incredibly pleasant person, he told us so many stories to contextualise the places we were visiting. It was on Hasa’s recommendation that we were able to enjoy a blissful morning on Turtle Beach, Hikkaduwa. He also gave us ideas for an enjoyable shopping experience and took us to the joint for the « best » kotthu paratha in Galle Fort. They were also incredibly accommodating of our last minute changes, ensuring that our getaway remained focused on our wishes, some of which changed whilst we were there. Unforgettable trip with the best of Sri Lanka driver guides!
We chose to travel with Eranda ([email protected]) on the recommendation of a backpacker who had travelled with him many times... and we were not disappointed!Very professional and thorough preparation: Eranda listened to our expectations and concocted a rich, dense and diversified program to discover the must-sees while avoiding tourist traps. He has excellent relays that he selects carefully for multiple activities: experienced guides for safaris, boat ride in the mangroves, Ayurvedic therapy, tea or mask factories... His air-conditioned van was comfortable, always clean and stocked with water bottles.Our trip was therefore an unforgettable experience. Eranda offered us her best guide and friend, Hasa, a super caring, attentive, smiling and always in a good mood 28 year old. The contact was excellent from the first minutes. Hasa shared her passion and love of Sri Lanka, alternating cultural tours, nature hikes, safaris, good little restaurants and moments of relaxation. He gave us the keys to understanding this amazing, diverse, enchanting and exotic country. He also showed us a thousand little touches and reserved some nice surprises...
